COMPANY HISTORY

NEX… Our Heritage… Our Future…

Established as a joint venture between worldwide logistics and freight forwarding company Nippon Express and packaging specialist company Nittsu Shoji, NEX Transport Inc. was created with both specialties in mind and now provides the best of both worlds. In 1989, eighty-two acres were purchased and a 100,000 sq. ft. building was built to begin this venture. Initially NEX provided warehousing services to automotive customers. But later that year, NEX was contracted to provide aftermarket packaging services to an automotive lighting company. This contract grew very rapidly, providing NEX a reputable name in the packaging business.   Soon other suppliers sought out NEX with their packaging business.

Over the years, NEX Transport has grown significantly. We now have 500,000 sq. ft. of warehouse space to grow. Our business started with only seven employees and now provides employment to over 800 team members. We take pride in our work, and focus on both quality and excellence. We believe this approach allows us to better serve our customers. As NEX increasingly evolves, focus will be given toward constant improvement and excellence. We will continually seek avenues of expansion and ways to better serve our customers.
